Notice to Members

To be more fiscally responsible to our membership, the Board of Directors of The Independence Party has passed a resolution for the dissolution of the Alberta Independence Party Association. Being a Society is not a necessary requirement for a political party in Alberta and continuing as a Society ultimately doubles the accounting expenses each year. In the best interests of our membership, the decision was made for dissolution of our Society status.
